SCOUTING CAPITAL ADVISORS ASSISTS RILIEVI GROUP IN THE ACQUISITION OF PUNTOART
- Bologna, 10 April 2024 – Rilievi Group (Rilievi), a Bologna-based multinational leader in the embellishment and embroidery sector, part of Gruppo Holding Industriale SpA – HIND, a company investing in companies representative of Made in Italy, has reached an agreement to acquire the majority of PuntoArt Srl (PuntoArt), a Forlì-based company highly specialised in creative embroidery for the fashion system.
- The operation provides for the permanence of PuntoArt’s management in its current operational roles and strengthens Rilievi’s presence in the world of special embroidery, reinforcing its expertise in the world of machine embroidery for major luxury brands, a segment in which the Forlì-based company is a leader.
- Rilievi, founded in 1991 and headquartered in Bologna, is one of the 16 subsidiaries forming part of the Made in Italy luxury production hub developed by HIND. The Bologna-based company is an excellence of Italian craftsmanship trusted by the best national and international brands and stylists in the luxury sector.
- PuntoArt, based in San Mauro Pascoli (FC), is distinguished by a wide range of workmanship that embraces both traditional and avant-garde techniques, from precision laser cutting to refined engravings, passing through the elegance of Cornely and the delicate art of macramé.
- Scouting Capital Advisors, which was already at Rilievi’s side in 2022 in the deal to join the Hind Group, followed the transaction as financial advisor with a team composed of Founder and Group CEO Rinaldo Sassi, Managing Director Giuseppe Pelliccioni and Associate Director Enrico Vignoli. The legal aspects were handled by PwC TLS with a team comprising Legal Partner Filippo Zucchinelli, Senior Manager Giulio Della Casa and Senior Associate Valeria Chiocca.
- Holding Industriale was joined by the international law firm Gianni & Origoni as legal advisor, with a team consisting of Partners Gabriele Ramponi and Antonio Amoroso.
- In the transaction, PuntoArt was assisted by the law firm Cauli, Marmocchi, Orsini & Associati with a group led by Partner Claudio Orsini. For the legal aspects, on the other hand, Studio Legale Bontempi was involved with Avv. Paolo Bontempi.
