SCOUTING CAPITAL ADVISORS ASSISTS CIBA BROKERS IN THE ACQUISITION OF INSURANCE BROKER MOSCHINI & PARTNERS
- Bologna, November 11, 2024 – Compagnia Italiana Brokers di Assicurazione S.p.A. (“Ciba Brokers”), an insurance brokerage company affiliated with the Confcooperative system (with the majority stake held by Confcooperative Emilia Romagna), further consolidates its presence in the area by acquiring the entire share capital of Moschini & Partners Srl – Insurance Brokers (“Moschini & Partners”).
- Founded in 2005, Ciba Brokers has recorded steady growth over the years: in 2023, it exceeded 4.5 million euros in revenue, with a projected increase to around 5 million euros in 2024, while gross premiums managed have already surpassed 30 million euros. Over the past five years, the company’s expansion has accelerated thanks to the opening of several branches; currently, the company has eight offices (Bologna, Reggio Emilia, Forlì, Rimini, San Marino, Ancona, Rome, and recently a new branch in Florence), and it plans to open additional branches in Veneto and Lombardy in the near future.
- The team of over 50 professionals assists a wide range of clients, from small and medium-sized enterprises to large international corporations, including both companies associated with Confcooperative and those with private capital.
- Moschini & Partners, a company founded by Mr. Goffredo Moschini after a long career in the insurance agency market, is an insurance broker based in Forlì since 2010, specializing in providing insurance solutions for companies of various sizes, from SMEs to more structured businesses.
- In the transaction, Ciba Brokers was assisted by Scouting Capital Advisors as financial advisor, with a team led by Founding Partner Rinaldo Sassi and Managing Director Giuseppe Pelliccioni. Saccaro-Trambaiolo acted as accounting and tax advisor, with a team led by founding partner Luca Trambaiolo.
- Moschini & Partners, on the other hand, was assisted by Alessandro Gardelli, partner and owner of Studio Associato Gardelli Dottori Commercialisti.
