Brami opens its capital to La Molisana

STPG SCOUTING CAPITAL ADVISORS ASSISTS CALIFORNIAN BRAMI IN BRINGING LA MOLISANA INTO ITS CAPITAL

  • Milan, May 8, 2023 – Brami, a California-based company active in the distribution in the U.S. of healthy and quality Italian gastronomic products, has signed an agreement to enter into its capital of La Molisana SpA (La Molisana), a historic pasta factory founded in 1912 in Campobasso and today a Made in Italy excellence in the production of high-end pasta. 
  • La Molisana’s US$5.7M intervention will allow the Italian company to enter Brami’s capital for up to 16 percent, subject to certain conditions. 
  • The deal represents an important strategic partnership for Brami with one of the world’s largest pasta producers and will allow it to introduce new, innovative, tasty and affordable Italian pasta types to the United States, with the aim of offering consumers alternative flour-based products. 
  • In the transaction, Brami was assisted by STPG, through STPG Scouting Capital Advisors, as financial advisor, by the work of Partner Giuseppe Sartorio.
