SCOUTING CAPITAL ADVISORS ASSISTS ADELSYSTEM IN THE ENTRY OF PULS INTO ITS CAPITAL
- Reggio Emilia, 4 December 2024 – Adel System Srl (‘Adel System’), a company specialising in the design of products and technological solutions in the power supply management sector, has finalised the sale of a majority stake in its capital to Puls Gmbh (‘Puls’), a world leader in the field of DIN rail power supplies and supplementary devices.
- The acquisition will allow Adel System to become part of the Puls Group, helping the company and its management team to continue and strengthen its successful trajectory.
- Founded in 1991 by Lelio Donelli, Adelsystem designs and manufactures industrial power supplies with linear and switching DC-UPS ‘All-In-One’ technology, industrial power supplies and intelligent battery chargers. Thanks to its expertise, the Reggio Emilia-based company has recorded double-digit annual sales growth in recent years. Producing more than 250 models for a variety of applications, it offers a range of power supplies designed to meet all applications in various fields: industrial automation, transport, renewable energy, healthcare and telecommunications.
- Adel System has developed further since 2001 with the entry into the company, as controlling shareholder, of the current Managing Director Stefano Artoni, who has helped focus the business on current innovative products by investing in research and development, and by involving and enhancing a successful management team committed to the company.
- Puls, a company founded in 1980 with headquarters in Munich, Germany, is the global market and technology leader in the development and mass production of DIN rail power supplies and auxiliary devices. With production sites in Germany, the Czech Republic and China, the company employs more than 1,700 people globally.
- In the transaction, Adel System’s shareholders were assisted by Scouting Capital Advisors as sole financial advisor, with a team comprising Managing Partner Marco Musiani, Director Richard Pratissoli and Associate Jacopo Mazzoleni.
- The law firm Studio Legale Sutich Barbieri Sutich acted as legal advisor with a senior team consisting of Name Partner Giorgio Barbieri and Associate Mario Varchetta and Alessandro Nironi Ferraroni, while the advisor for the tax aspects was Chartered Accountant Ivan Castagnetti.
- Puls‘s advisors were Cerina Studio Legale, with founder Paolo Cerina, and HLB Analisi, with a team led by Partner Francesco Notari and Senior Manager Andrea Bellegati.
