SCOUTING CAPITAL ADVISORS ASSISTS THE EUREGIO REAL ESTATE FUND+ TOURISM IN INVESTING IN “DAS GERSTL FAMILY RETREAT” ON LAKE RESIA

  • Bolzano, 11 October 2024 – The Euregio AIF Fund+ Tourism, an investment vehicle established and managed by Euregio Plus SGR S.p.A. with the support of Scouting Capital Advisors, has in recent days concluded an investment transaction in the company Gerstl sul Lago di Resia Srl for the construction of the 5-star hotel “Das Gerstl Family Retreat” on Lake Resia.
  • The Gerstl-Decarli family, following the success generated by their first structure, the Hotel ‘Das Gerstl Alpine Retreat’, decided to expand their offer with a high-level proposal dedicated to families, which emphasises the relationship with the territory and has a strong ESG profile.
  • It was important for us to find a strong partner to realise our dream ‘Das Gerstl Family Retreat’ on Lake Resia,’ Marion Decarli emphasises, and continues, ‘with the FIA Euregio+ Tourism Fund we made a good discovery and look forward to future collaboration.
  • The investment, structured by Scouting Capital Advisors with the team led by Managing Director Attilio Conta and Analyst Matteo Emiliozzi, has enabled the company’s assets to be strengthened, supporting in a synergetic manner the group of local banks involved in financing this important green field project. “We are happy that the preparatory work on this investment instrument is generating concrete results and we can state that the pipeline is currently particularly rich in interesting opportunities, which we are actively developing together with Euregio Plus SGR,” says Rinaldo Sassi, CEO of Scouting Capital Advisors.

For the Fund, with a current potential of over 70 million euro to be allocated to the tourism sector, this investment is the first in a series already planned for 2024-2025.
